DESCRIPTION:Alternative Horizons will be offering a 6-week support group for indigenous survivors of domestic violence. This in-person support group will be centered around healthy relationships. Topics will include identity\, current and historical trauma\, relationships with others and self\, gender norms/expectations\, and healthy communication. Come learn about healthy relationships in a safe space. SUMMARY:Healthy Relationships Support Group for the LGBTQIA+ Community
DESCRIPTION:Let’s talk about relationships and how to navigate them after trauma. In this peer-based support group we will talk about DV in LGBTQIA+ relationships\, healthy forms of communication\, grief\, fear/ guilt\,  identifying healthy relationships and most importantly self compassion. Each participant will receive a self care bag with a book\, journal\, and notepad. This support group is open to anyone in the LGBTQIA+ community who is a survivor of domestic violence.
